Purpose

The purpose of this project is to replace TOWN with the correct town name on the Maine town pages.

Task List

Part 10

Instructions

1. Open the task list and click on Part 10





2. Place your name next to the town you want to edit and click on the link to the town page.





3. We will now be replacing every instance of TOWN in capital letters with the name of the town whose page we are editing. There should be 6 instances of TOWN that we are replacing.



4. Click on the Edit Source button at the top of the page.



5. Look for the instances of TOWN in the code and replace each with the name of the town. There should be two in the ===Church Records=== section, one in the ===Land Records=== sections, one in the ===Maps=== section, one in ===Probate Records=== section, and one in the ===Town Records=== sections.



6. Click Show preview to make sure that you didn't miss any instances of TOWN.



7. Save the page and move one.
