Purpose

These four new collections need to be added to all county pages in Washington, USA.

• NOTE: You can scroll through tabs on Google Sheets. Next to the first tab, there are four lines stacked vertically. If you click that, you can see a complete list of all tabs on the Google Sheet. Additionally, next to the last tab, there are right and left arrows that you can click to scroll through.

Beginning Instructions

There are four new collections that need to be added separately to county pages in Washington, USA.

1. You will need to sign up for a county under a collection title tab on the Task List.
2. Go to the instructions for the specific collection below.

Washington Voting Records, 1876-1940

Step One

Sign your name next to a county on the Washington Voting Records, 1876-1940 tab of the task list.

• NOTE: You can scroll through tabs on Google Sheets. Next to the first tab, there are four lines stacked vertically. If you click that, you can see a complete list of all tabs on the Google Sheet. Additionally, next to the last tab, there are right and left arrows that you can click to scroll through.

Step Two

Using the links on the task list, click the municipality you want to work on.

Step Three

In the contents, select Voting Registers. This should jump you down to the Subheading Voting Registers. You can also just scroll down to this subheading.

Step Four

• Click Edit Source next to Voting Registers.

• Copy the following code and paste it in numerical order by date.
  
  

Exceptions:

• If the link is already on the page, replace it with this new link to make it match the new manual of style. Do not worry about other entries on the page that are not in accordance with the manual of style.
• If there are no other entries with dates, put this as the first bullet.
• If there is a note about there being no online records available, please replace that note with this link.

• Click Show Preview to make sure it looks good and the links work.

• Enter in "/*Voting Registers*/ New Collections Project" as the Summary.

• Click Save Changes.
  
  

Here is an example of what it should look like.

Washington, County Death Registers, 1881-1979

Step One

Sign your name next to a county on the Washington, County Death Registers, 1881-1979 tab of the task list.

Additionally, next to the last tab, there are right and left arrows that you can click to scroll through.

Step Two

Using the links on the task list, click the municipality you want to work on.

Step Three

In the contents, select Death under Vital Records. This should jump you down to the Subheading Death. You can also just scroll down to this subheading.

Step Four

• Click Edit Source next to Death.

• Copy the following code and paste it in order according to date range.

Exceptions:

• Add this entry after the {{WA Death Intro}} template.
• If the link is already on the page, replace it with this new link to make it match the new manual of style. Do not worry about other entries on the page that are not in accordance with the manual of style.
• If there are no other entries with dates, put this as the first bullet.
• If there is a note about there being no online records available, please replace that note with this link.
