FamilySearchWiki:WikiProject:Adding FamilySearch Places to 2020 and 2019 Cemeteries Pages
Purpose
To add the link to FamilySearch Places to past cemetery pages that were updated/completed without it.

Project Instructions
Part 1: Select a Country and Appropriate Instructions
1. Select a country from the task list. Add your name in the name column.
2. Determine if you need to use instructions for United States or another country.
3. If it's for the United States, go to "Part 2: Determine Where to Place the Link for U.S. Pages". If not, continue to "Part 3: Determine Where to Place the Link for Non-U.S. Countries".
Part 2: Determine Where to Place the Link for U.S. Pages
1. Look for the section on the left in the table that says, "List of Cemeteries in the State". You will place the link to the right of this.
2. Find the bullet point for BillionGraves. It will go right below this entry.
3. Copy and paste the code below on the Wiki page.

4. Continue to "Part 4: Retrieve Link from FamilySearch Places".
Part 3: Determine Where to Place the Link for Non-U.S. Countries
1. On the Wiki page find the heading "Online Resources".
2. Go to the bottom of the bullet-pointed list.
3. Copy and paste the code below.

4. Continue to "Part 4: Retrieve Link from FamilySearch Places".
Part 4: Retrieve Link from FamilySearch Places
1. Go to FamilySearch Places.
2. Enter in the name of your country, province or state.
3. Select the blue target to the right of the search result you want. Look at the image below for reference.
4. Click the blue plus sign next to the words "add filter".
5. Type the word cemetery in the "place type" box.
6. Copy the URL.
7. Go back to the Wiki page and find where you placed the code earlier.
8. Replace URL with the URL you just copied.
9. Click show preview and check your work.
10. Add "added link to FS Places" in the summary.
11. Click save.
