Italian Occupation (1936-1942)
Italy attacked Ethiopia in 1935, and after a 7 month war, annexed the territory. In 1940 Britain joined forces with Ethiopia, and in 1941 the Italians surrendered to the combined armies, ending its occupation.[1]
