  • 979 (or 994): First appearance of the name Esine.
  • 12th century: Dispute with Borno.
  • 1287: Lands purchased by Manfredo Beccagutti.
  • 1336: Bishop of Brescia invested Oprandino Codaferri.
  • Late 14th century: Lands purchased by Ziliolo Federici and his son Marchesio.
  • 1545-1549: Military contest with Erbanno.
  • 1577: Foundation of first pawnshop.
  • 1836: Wooden bridge built.
  • 1870: Brick bridge built.
  • 1920s-1943: Resistance against Fascist Regime and Nazi Occupation.
  • 1931: Gimitelli brothers massacre.
  • 1989: Twinning with Civitanova Marche.
  • 1992: Opening of Vallecamonica Hospital.
