  • San Juan Bautista de Duaca was founded in 1620 by order of the then Governor and Captain General of the Province of Venezuela.
  • On December 27, 1899, the Duaca district was created.
  • On January 17, 1900, the name was changed to Crespo.
  • The capital of the municipality is Duaca.
  • The municipality of Crespo has a population of approximately 72,500 people. [1]
