The Covert Town Clerk has birth, marriage and death records beginning in approximately 1830. The town clerk has a computer database to search for records by surname, but this database can only be accessed by the Covert Town Clerk. There are also early tax books which can be viewed in person, but the clerk will only provide access to these records, the town clerk will not perform the searches in these records. The Covert Town Clerk's Office is located at 8469 South Main, Interlaken, New York. The Covert Town Clerk welcomes email inquiries; however, record requests will typically require a form to be filled out an mailed along with any applicable fees.
