History[edit | edit source]
Major events:
- September 1917: Carzano was the location of a planned military operation called the "Carzano dream." Major Cesare Pettorelli Lalatta of the Information Service (ITO) conceived this plan, which aimed to have Italian troops advance into Valsugana, possibly reaching Trento. The operation ultimately failed due to poor execution by the generals, not due to any fault of Pettorelli Lalatta. He is buried in the Carzano cemetery.[1]
