Not to be confused with Bloomfield Plantation (i.e. Coplin) in Franklin County, Maine.

Bloomfield is an extinct town, now part of Skowhegan in Somerset County, Maine. Bloomfield was organized from a portion of Canaan in 1814. Bloomfield annexed land from Fairfield in 1858. Bloomfield was annexed to Skowhegan in 1861.[1] [2]
