The National Museum of History of Azerbaijan (Milli Azərbaycan Tarixi Muzeyi) was founded in 1920 and is the largest museum in Azerbaijan. The museum seeks to immortalize the history of Azerbaijan. In addition to exhibits, the museum also houses books, rare journals, and historic newspapers.
