Larson, Emma Charlotte Moland, b. 1871 Moland - Anderson family genealogical data, 1824-1974. Peter Anderson Moland (1824-1913 immigrated in 1849 from Norway to Bidnack (near Chicago). He returned to Norway to marry his sweetheart, but she refused him unless he remained in Norway; he married Ingeborg Oleson Lea in 1851, and returned to Bidnack. In 1855 they homesteaded in St. Lawrence, Waupaca County, Wisconsin, later moving to Farmington, Jefferson county, Wisconsin. Descendants and relatives lived in Illinois, Wisconsin, and elsewhere. Includes other immigrant ancestors from Norway to Wisconsin, as well as some ancestors in Arendal Parosh, Aust-Agder County, Norway.

Han ble gift 1809 i Arendal, Norge med Maren Cathrine Rendtler (1786-1871), som var født i Kragerø (Kragerøy), Østfold, Norge, og hun også døde i Horsens, Skanderborg. Alle børnene var født i Arendal, Aust-Agder, Norge. Senere flyttede familien til Danmark. (Ancestors and descendants of Rasmus Peder Emborg (1779-1853), who was born in Hansted parish, Skanderborg, and died in Horsens. He married Maren Cathrine Redtler (1786-1871) 1809 in Arendal, Norway. She was born in Kragerø (Kragerøy), Østfold, and died in Horsens. The couple first lived in Norway, where their three children were born in Arendal, Aust-Agder co., and later moved to Denmark.
