Indexes

The FamilySearch Library has not collected Alaskan newspapers. The library has The Anchorage Times Obituaries Index, 1915-1980 (FamilySearch Library fiche 6331408-9).

The Alaska State Library has created the Alaska Newspapers Index. Currently there are 209002 files in the database covering numerous newspapers.

For Fairbanks newspapers see:Index of Births, Deaths, Marriages and Divorces in Fairbanks, Alaska Newspapers, 1903-1930, by Fairbanks Genealogical Society.
