Northern Territory Research Tips

Current day Northern Territory was under jurisdiction of other Australia states:

• 1825 Established as a part of New South Wales
• 1863 Transferred to South Australia
• 1911 Northern Territory separated from South Australia
• 1927 Northern Territory split into North Australia and Central Australia
• 1931 North Australia and Central Australia rejoined to become Northern Territory again
