Contact Information[edit | edit source]Address: Description of Collections[edit | edit source]Lonesome Pine Regional Library has 501,511 total holdings with formats in Book, Audio Book, Compact Disc, Microfilm, Newspaper, Magazine and DVD. Public use PCs are available at all locations and iPads, Chromebooks, mobile hotspots and laptops are available for checkout at most locations. Downloadable books, audio books and magazines are also available. A mail order service is available for those who are unable to get to the library in person. Services[edit | edit source]Genealogy Resources: Ancestry for Virginia, Heritage Quest, Microfilm is available at our Big Stone Gap, Pennington Gap, Clintwood and Gate City branches containing many topics including old local newspapers and census records. All branches are FamilySearch Affiliate Libraries. Family and Local history titles are available at all libraries. The Wise County Historical Society is conveniently housed in the same building as our Wise branch. All branches offer scan, copy, print and fax services. Public use PCs, wireless internet and privacy booths are available. Wireless printing is available at some locations. Microfilm is available at one branch in each county and the collection also varies by branch.
