The collection consists of images of Catholic registers of inquiries of consanguinity (registres des enquêtes de consanguinité) from the Diocese of Coutances et d'Avranche. Includes both a chronological index (1597-1818) and original inquiry records (1597-1792). Parishes within this diocese are within the boundaries of the department of Manche and the former province of Normandy, France.
