Youth Conference[edit | edit source]

Search and Serve[edit | edit source]

The Riverton FamilySearch Library offers a one day Family History activity to supplement ward and multi-ward youth conferences.

The library youth conference activities are designed to help youth and their leaders recognize the Spirit of Elijah and learn how its influence can bless the lives of both the living and the dead through Family History and Temple Ordinance work.

Research workshops will provide instruction on the key elements of genealogical research to help youth with their individual family history responsibilities. Each class will be followed with hands-on exercises or activities to practice and gain experience using the library’s state-of-the-art equipment and resources.

Service workshops will be presented to explain opportunities that are available for youth to assist others in family history research. Again, each class will be followed with an opportunity to practice skills and procedures learned during the class presentations.   Select "Youth Conference" on the library menu for more details and registration instructions for the summer of 2012.

Temple Ordinance Card Printer[edit | edit source]

A Temple Ordinance Card printer has recently been installed at the library for the convenience of our patrons. Ordinance cards can be printed right at the library rather than taking a Family Ordinance Request form to a temple for printing.
