Task Description
This task uses the www.publiclibraries.com website to help locate information about public libraries in the county that have genealogical information.
Instructions
Only list a public library if the website states it has genealogical sources. Do not list all public libraries.
Using www.publiclibraries.com obtain the website for the public library. On the public library website, determine:
- Address (please indent contact information)
- Phone number
- Any collections that are helpful for genealogy (obituary indexes, newspapers, cemetery records, etc.)
Add the link of the website to the name of the library.
Focus on the libraries that have websites as they are usually the larger libraries and more likely will have genealogical collections.

- Call for hours. Albany History Room hours differ from regular library hours.
