Brief History
The 15th Regiment, Michigan Infantry was organized at Detroit, Monroe and Grand Rapids, Michigan, October 16, 1861, to March 13, 1862. It was Mustered in March 20, 1862. The Regiment was mustered out August 18, 1865. [1]
