Brief History

The 14th Regiment, Michigan Infantry was organized at Ypsilanti and Detroit, Michigan on January 7 to February 18, 1862. It was mustered in February 13, 1862. The Regiment was mustered out July 18, 1865 at Louiville, Kentucky. It was disbanded July 29, 1865 at Detroit Michigan.
