Brief History
4th Regiment, Michigan infantry was reorganized at Adrian and Hudson, Michigan and mustered in on October 14, 1864. The regiment was mustered out at Houston, Texas, May 26,1866 and discharged Detroit, Michigan, June 10, 1866[1].
