Purpose of edits - 8 June 2011[edit source]
Charles, I see you made some changes and then reversed some, but not all. There is no edit summary, so I'm not sure what you wanted to change or if you wanted to revert it back to the 13 April 2011 version. Let me know and I will help you make the change. --Steve 00:35, 9 June 2011 (UTC)
- Charles I see you made some more edits on 9 June 2011. The result of which was to remove the type parameter and the code that changed the spelling of template from center to centre based on the name of the page. You also made a change in the text that is displayed from "This article describes the services and resources available at a Family History Center" to " This article describes the services and resources available at this Family History Center"'. I have reversed these changes as the code needs to be present for the type parameter and the spelling change, as these are utilised in the wiki. Also the sentence change results in bad grammar. The object of the sentence is "This article" and so you can not refer to "this FHC". --Steve 05:28, 10 June 2011 (UTC)
Recieved via email Steve, I changed the FHCpage because I had a FHC in Virginia that the city spelled its name as Centreville. That spelling made it so I could not categorize the FHC in "Virginia Family History Centers." It would only allow me to categorize it in "Virginia Family History Centres which was of course created a red link. The only way I could get it to the proper category was to erase the code that made the spelling of the link to match the spelling of the place name. If you have another way to correct this, please do so. --Ccsmith 15:17, 10 June 2011 (UTC)
