Add Roman Catholic marriage record collection to England parish pages

Instructions[edit | edit source]

Step One - Sign up[edit | edit source]

  • Go to the Task List, choose a county to work on from the tabs at the bottom of the task list and add your name to the "Name" column, next to the parish you want to work on.



Step Two - Click the Link[edit | edit source]

  • Using the links on the task list, click the parish you want to work on.



Step Three - Click Nonconformist Records in the Contents[edit | edit source]

  • In the contents, select Nonconformist Records. Or scroll down to the Nonconformist Records heading.



Step Four - Click Edit Source Next to Nonconformist Records[edit | edit source]

  • Click Edit Source next to Nonconformist Records.



Step Five - Copy and Paste the Database[edit | edit source]

  • Copy the following code and paste the code in chronological order by date with the other databases listed.
*Note: This database has no dates, it needs to be pasted directly under the last chronological database. Here is an example: Ampthill, Bedfordshire, England Genealogy

Step Six - Show Preview the Page and Check the Database[edit | edit source]

  • Click Show Preview to make sure it looks good and the link works.



Step Seven - Save the Page[edit | edit source]

  • Enter in the "Summary field the wikitext listed below and click "Save changes":

Step Eight - Enter Completed Date on Task List[edit | edit source]

  • Add the date completed to the "Date" column on the Task Last and continue to the next parish in the task list.
