Parish History
Richmond Holy Trinity is an Ecclesiastical Parish in the county of Yorkshire, created in 1755 from Richmond, Yorkshire Ancient Parish and occupies part of the cobbled market place in the centre of the town.
The chapel of the Holy Trinity, in the centre of the town,belonged to the abbey of St. Mary at York, but was suffered to become ruinous, and no service was performed in it from the year 1712 until 1740, at which period it was repaired by the corporation.
