Brief History

The 150th Regiment, Ohio Infantry (National Guard) was organized at Cleveland, Ohio, and mustered in May 5, 1864.  They participated in the repulse of Early's attack on Washington , District of Columbia, July 11-12 mustered out August 23, 1864.[1]

Company H - Many men from the 29th Regiment O.N.G., Cuyahoga County.
Company I - Many men from the 30th Battalion O.N.G., Dover, Cuyahoga County.
Company K - Many men from Co. A, 39th Battalion O.N.G., Lorain County, included many students from Oberlin College.
