Brief History
The 156th Regiment, Ohio Infantry (National Guard) was organized at Camp Dennison, Ohio, and mustered in May 15, 1864. They served at Cumberland until August 28 and saw action near Folck's Mills, Cumberland, August 1. They were mustered out September 1, 1864.[1]
