Purpose[edit | edit source]

Adding a new link and updating the county Boundary Changes section.

Step One - Sign Up[edit | edit source]

  • Go to the task list and sign your name for a state on the list: task list. You will be adding content to every county in the state.



Step Two - Click the Link[edit | edit source]

  • Using the link on the task list, click on the first county name.



Step Three - Click Boundary Changes in the Contents[edit | edit source]

  • In the contents, select Boundary Changes. Or scroll down to the Boundary Changes heading



Step Four - Click "Edit Source" next to Boundary Changes[edit | edit source]

  • Click Edit Source next to Boundary Changes heading.



Step Five - Copy the Links for the State You are Woking On[edit | edit source]

  • Scroll down to the state you are signed up for and copy the correct wikitext.



Step Six - Paste the Links[edit | edit source]

  • Going back the county wiki page, paste the links for that state directly under "County Seat" pushing down the other bullets.



Step Seven - Delete the Old Links[edit | edit source]

  • Highlight the old links and delete them from the page. You should only have the new links under the County Seat.



  • Note: Be careful to not delete the closing table wikitext code (i.e. |}). If it is missing, copy the wikitext and paste it after the last bullet you added.



Step Eight - Show Preview the Page[edit | edit source]

  • Click on Show preview and review the entry to make sure the links are working.



Step Nine - Save the Page[edit | edit source]

  • Enter in the Summary the following and click Save changes:
