Companies in this Regiment with the Counties of Origin

Men often enlisted in a company recruited in the counties where they lived though not always. After many battles, companies might be combined because so many men were killed or wounded. However if you are unsure which company your ancestor was in, try the company recruited in his county first.

Companies by County:
Company A - Many men from Pickaway County.
Company B - Many men from Auglaize and Logan Counties.
Company C - Many men from Logan County.
Company D - Many men from Logan County.
Company E - Many men from Logan County.
Company F - Many men from Franklin, Madison and Portage Counties.
Company G - Many men from Delaware and Licking Counties.
Company H - Many men from Champaign and Hardin Counties.
Company I - Many men from Hardin and Logan Counties.
Company K - Many men from Clark and Crawford Counties.
