History[edit | edit source]
The northern end of Roman-style Gumlösa church dates from 1192, one of the oldest brick-built buildings in Sweden. The southern part was built in 1797. The baptismal font is the only medieval fixture remaining. After a fire in 1904, the church was restored to its original condition.[1] [2] [3]
