The Boise FamilySearch Center serves the people in the Boise, Idaho area. The center is a stand-alone building dedicated solely for the purpose of teaching and researching family history.
It is staffed by volunteer consultants and specialists who are very happy to help you for free!
There are 14 computers in the main room for your use. It also has a dedicated training room with 15 student computers.

Drive through the gate into the parking lot behind the temple, turn right and go to the stand alone FamilySearch building towards the back of the parking lot.
Classes and Events
The Center will be open during the Boise Temple closure from June 17th to September 30th but will be closed July 1st to July 6th.

We have the following regular class:
1st Tuesday at 11:00 am: RootsMagic, taught by Lynn Christiansen - Please call the Center to confirm class before arrival
2nd Tuesday at 7:00 pm: FamilySearch for Spanish speaking patrons taught by Alan Stoddard
The training room can be reserved for use by a group (limit of 15 individuals) or you may request that we schedule a specific class for your group. On an exception basis, it may be possible to schedule the building for other times on Saturday, based on the group's need and the availability of the center's staff.

Family History Activities Discovery Day Information
We held classes to share simple activities designed to learn more about ourselves, our families, and our heritage. We shared lots of activity ideas for all ages and stages of life.
