NEW Activity! Mystery Escape Room - Mystery on the Mississippi

We are excited to welcome you to our Mystery Escape Room!

  • Our Mystery on the Mississippi Escape Room will take you and your group through an interactive adventure using videos, puzzles, and clues to help you on your way.
  • The Escape Room activity is designed where groups work together to solve various problems related to family history, by using the props and clues provided in the room. (Most groups can finish the activity within 1 hour.)
  • This is the story of a Mississippi fisherman who lived and died on the river. Our exciting escape room features details of his personal life, career as a fisherman, and even his involvement in major historical events such as the American Civil War. The puzzles and clues will not only test your problem-solving skills to unlock the mystery of his life, but also provide an educational experience unlike any other!
  • The activity is available by appointment for all youth and adult groups. Families are also invited, but children under the age of 11 will probably not find it very interesting. We have found that the optimal group size is 8-10 people. (Due to space limitations, groups larger than 12 should schedule separate appointments so that each group has a great experience.)
  • There are some historical records that are written in cursive, therefore, youth groups will need an adult or two to assist them.
  • Special events may possibly (depending on availability) be scheduled by calling us at (801)626-1132.
  • Escape Room reservations are available by clicking on the green button below. *This summer we have opened up reservations every day, except Saturdays.
  • Groups are welcome to bring a snack reward for successfully completing this activity. (The snack area requires a separate reservation.)
  • To reserve our snack area for your group, please call the Center Help Desk to check availability.
