- Determine what is needed from the Springville FamilySearch Staff.
- Group size is limited to 30 participants.
- Most Importantly: Make sure every member of your group has an active FamilySearch account for them to get the most benefit from their visit.

- Children 8 to 13 years old require parental authorization to create a new user account.
The Springville FamilySearch Center serves 11 stakes and the community. Please be considerate of others when making your reservations.
Activities Available
- Springville FamilySearch Center Presentation. Tour the center to see what resources are available. (15 minutes)
- Leadership Training. Training for Ward Family History Leaders and Consultants, High Council Assigned to Family History and Stake Family History Consultants, Ward Council Members, Stake Council Members. (Not available for Daytime Visits.)
- Family Home Evening. Families & Single Adult Groups may spend Family Home Evening at the Center and choose among available activities. It is held on Monday from 6 to 9 pm and is limited to 30 participants.(Not available for Daytime Visits.)
- Finding a Relative to Take to the Temple. Search for names of ancestors or descendants to take to the temple. Learn how to do original research with tips on using search functions to find and document new people on ancestor or descendant lines. Learn how to reserve names for temple ordinances and print ordinance cards.
- FamilySearch Web Indexing. Learn the "why" and "how" of indexing. Receive hands-on training to index at the Center or at home.
- Family History Games. Experience the fun of family history through Games. (Not available for Daytime Visits.)
- Connect/Belong Using Mobile Devices. Learn all the new features of doing family history on mobile devices.
- Presentation by your Ward Family History Consultant. The Consultant selects a topic and presents it to Ward members at the Center on the scheduled day.
- Group Visit without a Presentation. Spend your scheduled time using our computers and printers in a designated area of the Center.
- Memories. Learn how to save photos, histories, and documents to the FamilySearch website.
- Digital Conversion. Learn what scanning equipment is available and how it works.
- Escape Room. A fun activity should include the FamilySearch Center "Escape Room". It is centered around tools and technologies at the center, to solve puzzles, ciphers and problems. This activity is limited to 30 participants. (Only "Lost Cousins" available for Daytime Visits.) Escape Room Choices are:
- Korihor plague (for YM, YW, YSA) - Complete puzzles and activities to open multiple locks to find the cure.
- Raymond Westerhyde - Resolve (interpret) conflicting and contracting genealogy source data for an individual.
- Prisoners of Darkness - Use your family tree and identify special relative to complete your quest.
- Ursala Ortiga Young - Develop and explore family search tools to break codes and save an individual.
- Lost Cousins (for Primary age and Families) - Search for your lost cousins.

Daytime Visits
A daytime group visit with up to 30 participants may be scheduled on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 10:00 am, 11:00 am, 3:00 pm or 4:00 pm. The visit lasts up to 1 hour. This may include a short presentation, 15 to 20 minutes, by a staff member in our meeting room. The remainder of the time will be spent at the computers in the Center. If a short presentation is not requested, the entire time will be spent at the computers.
Evening Visits
A evening group visit with up to 30 participants may be scheduled on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings at 6:00 pm or 7:30 pm. The visit lasts 1 1/2 hours. This may include a short presentation, 15 to 20 minutes, by a staff member in our meeting room. The remainder of the time will be spent at the computers in the Center. If a short presentation is not requested, the entire time will be spent at the computers.
Family History Games
Experience the fun of family history through Games. Family History Games are activities that are intended to: increase depth and knowledge of your family tree, use games to teach new techniques, encourage research by asking questions, or challenge other family members in game settings. A group visit with up to 30 participants may be scheduled on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings at 6:00 pm or 7:30 pm for 1 1/2 hours or on Saturdays (TIME). Choose it as one of the "Presentation Choices" in the Drop-down for the Evening Visits. 48 hour notice is required.
Activity Days
Looking for an Activity Days event. Bring them to the FamilySearch Center for fun and education. Limited to 30 participants. 48 hour notice is required.
