FamilySearch This article describes the services and resources available at a FamilySearch Center, a branch facility of the FamilySearch Library.



The Centerville Ohio FamilySearch Center serves the Dayton Ohio South Suburbs, including Bellbrook, Centerville, Kettering, Miamisburg and West Carrollton. There is no cost to visit the FamilySearch Center and everyone who is interested in genealogical research is welcome to use the facility and equipment. It is staffed by volunteer consultants who are very happy to help you for free!

Holiday Schedule:

Closed on all major holidays and Halloween.

Closed the week of July 4th.

Closed the week of Thanksgiving.

Closed the last 2 weeks of December resuming regular hours in January.

Closed when local schools are closed due to weather conditions.

Center Services

We have 5 computers and 2 microfilm/microfiche readers available. We do not have a copier for microfilm/microfiche but encourage the use of digital cameras for that purpose.

We have a printer available for computer printouts, it will also scan pictures and documents directly to your FamilySearch account.
