Purpose

Add the Full Text Search link to all US county pages under Land and Property Records header and Probate Records header.

Instructions

Step One - Go to the Task List

1. From the tabs on the spreadsheet, choose a state to work on: Task List.

2. You can sign up for individual states by putting your name directly below "Name" above a list of counties for a state.

Note: there will be multiple states on one tab. Be sure to scroll right to see them all.

Step Two - Select a State

• Using the links on the task list, click the first county to work on.

Step Three - Click Edit Source

• When you are on the county Wiki page, click on Edit Source at the top of the page.
  

Part A - Land Records

Step One - Go to Header, Land Records

1. Use ctrl + F to search the page for, Land and Property Records. It should take you down the page to the header.

Step Two - Copy and Paste the Link

1. Add this link under the header, Online Land Indexes and Records after the other databases listed.

• If there is a paragraph and no databases listed on the page under the Land and Property Records header do this:

• Add the following header and link after the paragraph.

Part B - Probate Records

Step One - Go to Header, Probate Records

1. Use ctrl + F to search the page for, Probate Records. It should take you down the page to the header.

Step Two - Copy and Paste the Link

1. Add this link under the header, Probate Records after the other databases listed.

Step Three - Save the Page

1.Click Show Preview to make sure it looks good and the link works.

2. Enter in the following in the summary:

Added Full Text Search Database - project
 

3. Click Save Changes.

Step Four - Go back to the Task List

1. Go to the Task List and add the date next to your name.

2. Choose the next county to work on: Task List.
