Also, they will show you how to add your own cherished memories to the Memories feature on FamilySearch.

March classes:

Tuesday, March 5, 10:30 am, Jim Banner will be teaching “Preserving Audio Recordings in FamilySearch.” Jim has been involved in genealogy for 20+ years and served as a FamilySearch Support Missionary for about 4 years. He now serves as a Temple and Family History Consultant for the Dry Creek Branch (Care Center). Jim will show you how easy it is to use your phone’s family tree app, how to add memories and record a call remotely. This will enable you to add it to the person’s personal page on FamilySearch. You will also be given a brief tutorial on editing audio tracks. Lots to learn; come join us!

Wednesday, March 6, 1:00 pm, Glenn Whicker will be teaching “Searching and Finding Tips.” Glenn is a Records Preservation Service Missionary and has been serving at the Payson FamilySearch Center for the past five years. He has a lot of experience in family history and has been involved in genealogy for 40+ years. This class will teach you how to maximize your search strategies for family history hints. Glenn is an excellent instructor and very easy to follow.

Thursday, March 7, 7:00 pm, Shaunese Luthy will be teaching “Don’t Forget the City Directories.” Shaunese has her degree in Family History and Genealogy from Brigham Young University.
