Step Five - Paste it to the County Page

  • Find the link for the center on the County Wiki page and replace and reformat the information so it looks like this:

*[[Alexander City Alabama FamilySearch Center]]

After:
*[https://locations.familysearch.org/en/us/al/alexander-city/1515-worthy-place Alexander City Alabama FamilySearch Center]

Step Six - Fix All FamilySearch Center Links

  • Continue to search for the next center listed on the Wiki page. Use the back arrow on the browser to return to the list of cities in the state.

  • If the center does not exist on the list, double check the map by making a different search for the center name. Map Search. If you cannot locate the center in the map, remove the link in the County Wiki page.

  • If you use this link to search specifically for the center, be sure to click on "More Information" to get to center card and copy the URL to add to the Wiki page.

*NOTE: We are not fixing the links for the Affiliate Libraries. These links go straight to the library's website not the map.

Step Seven - Show Preview

Click Show Preview to make sure the center name is displayed and the link works.

  • Enter in the Summary and click Save changes:
