Tuesday, September 19th at 10:30 am, Dennis Ransom will be teaching “England’s BMD & Christening Records.” Dennis, from an early age, has had a great interest in Temple and Family History Work. He has organized Family Reunions and has done a lot of research in British and Early American Records. He has served as a Family Search Center consultant for over 10 years. Do you need help searching for relatives in England? Dennis will show you ways to find and search the BMD (birth, marriage, and death records), and the christening records in England.

Wednesday, October 4th at 1:00 pm, Virginia Temple will be teaching “PART 1: RootsMagic”. RootsMagic is a liaison between FamilySearch and Ancestry. This class is taught in two sessions. Part 2 will be taught the following Wednesday, October 11th at 1:00 pm.

Have you wondered about the partner sites that FamilySearch has and what information they have to help your research? Kristy will teach you what Ancestry, My Heritage, Find My Past, Geneanet, and Filae have to help us in our research.

Thursday, October 5th at 7:30 pm Shelly Strand and Shaunese Luthy will be teaching “Researching Your Family” in the computer room. This is a hands-on class. The first part of the class you will learn about one type of record to use in your research. The second part of the class will be one on one help with what you need assistance with. This class is not zoomed.

Saturday, October 7th at 10:30 am Rose Nyman and Kristy Bloomer, will be teaching “Workshop: Talking Dead Relatives.” Come and learn what great things My Heritage can do with your old photos. It will help you find fun ways to communicate with your grandchildren and get them excited in doing FamilySearch.
