Class Reminders for the week of August 29th - August 31st at the Payson FamilySearch Center

This week at the Payson FamilySearch Center we have more amazing teachers. We hope you can come and join us to learn from their expertise. All classes are free.

Tuesday, Sept 5th at 10:30 am, Steve Lowry will be teaching Finding Temple Names Through Descendancy. Steve Lowry is a software engineer, who worked the last 13 years for FamilySearch until retiring last year in April. He serves as a Temple and Family HIstory Leader and continues to teach several classes a year over zoom on FamilySearch. This class will be a zoom meeting with Steve. He will take questions you have about FamilySearch, after teaching about attaching Historical Records. You can join us at the center for the class or from wherever you are via the "Join Class Now" Zoom buttom:

Wednesday, Sept 6th, at 1 pm, Kristy Bloomer and Rose Nyman, will be teaching "Using Pictures and Paintings to Illustrate History".

Thursday, Sept 7th, at 7 pm in the classroom, Michael Buck, will be teaching "The Fascinating Story of Family History".

Thursday, Sept 7th, at 7 pm in the computer room, Shelly Strand, will be teaching Researching Your Family. This is a hands-on class. Shelly will share resources to assist you in your search for family records. Shelly just finished her bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Family History Research. This week, we will focus on using FamilySearch’s Record Finder. Learn about this tool that directs you to records types and collections that could have the information that answers your research question.

Saturday, Sept 9th, at 1 pm, Kristy Bloomer and Janis Olsen, will be teaching "The Quilt Connection To Family History"
