Brief History

Organized at St. Louis, Missouri,under authority of Governor Harvey, as a Company for the 1st Missouri Light Artillery, to be known as the 12th Wisconsin Battery February and March, 1862. April 29-May 20. Grand Review May 24. Mustered out June 26, 1865.[1]
