There is a great index to many of the Church of England parishes in south and west Somerset called Dr. Campbell's Index. This index was created by Dr. Neville Campbell. It is available at the Somerset Archives and Local Studies. It has also been microfilmed and is available at the FamilySearch Library or can be ordered at any FamilySearch Center. North Somerset Archive Service
- The North Somerset Archive Service offers easier access to services for people who live in North Somerset. An archivist visits Weston super Mare Library on Thursdays throughout the year, approximately quarterly, in order to:
- help people find out about the past, with information on how to research family, house and local history
- provide information on the archives held at the Somerset Heritage Centre
- bring microfiche for people to study, and documents from the archive strongrooms when appropriate
