Add miscellaneous databases to Ontario County Wiki pages

Step One - Sign Up[edit | edit source]
- Go to the task list and sign your name next to a county or district in Ontario.
Step Two - Click the Link[edit | edit source]
- Using the links on the task list, click the county or district you want to work on.
Step Three - Click on Edit Source at the Top of the County or District Page[edit | edit source]
- Click on Edit Source at the top of the county page you are working on.
Step Four - Copy the Database[edit | edit source]
- You will be pasting this database under several headings on the page because it covers both Civil Registration and Church Records.
Remember:
- Keep the links in chronological order.
- If the link is already on the page, replace it with this link.
- If other links are not formatted correctly, just ignore them and put this link at the top of the list. We'll fix the other links in another project.
- Copy the following code:

Step Five - Add the Link to the Following Headings[edit | edit source]
Header: Civil Registration Under Birth[edit | edit source]
- Use Ctrl + F to search for Birth on the page. Navigate to the Birth heading on the county page.
- Paste the database.
Header: Civil Registration Under Marriage[edit | edit source]
- Use Ctrl + F to search for Marriage on the page. Navigate to the Marriage heading on the county page.
- Paste the database.
Header: Civil Registration Under Death[edit | edit source]
- Use Ctrl + F to search for Death on the page. Navigate to the Death heading on the county page.
- Paste the database.
Header: Online Church Records[edit | edit source]
- Use Ctrl + F to search for Online Church Records on the page. Navigate to the Online Church Records heading on the county page.
- Paste the database.
Step Six - Check the Database and Save the Page[edit | edit source]
- Click Show Preview to make sure each link you've added to the Wiki page looks good and the link works.
- Enter in the Summary and click Save changes:
