Meeting Room[edit | edit source]
- The Meeting Room is equipped with a large-screen TV and connected computer where guests can select from a wide variety of family history videos. Meetings of up to 10 people can be held, with a sofa and soft-chair seating. There is also a magazine rack with an assortment of free handouts.
Discovery Room[edit | edit source]
- The Discovery Room has four networked computers with connection to the FamilySearch Portal, where guests can access premium sites such as Ancestry, MyHeritage, and Newspapers.com. There is also a printer/copier available.
Media Room[edit | edit source]
- The Media Room is where guests can have audio and video cassettes converted to digital format. There is also an Epson color printer that does oversized printing, up to 11x17 inches for fan charts, documents, etc.
Hallway[edit | edit source]
- The hallway outside the Rooms has two bulletin boards. The one on the left has inspirational family history themes, and the design is updated quarterly. The one on the right has ancestor bios submitted by guests of the FamilySearch Center.
Collections[edit | edit source]
- The Discovery Room has a bookcase with over 150 books on a wide variety of research topics, such as U.S. states, vital records, immigration, international research, etc.
Databases and Software[edit | edit source]
- FamilySearch Center Portal This center has access to the FamilySearch Center Portal page which gives free access in the center to premium family history software and websites that generally charge for subscriptions.
Hardware and Equipment[edit | edit source]
- Meeting Room: 50-inch flat-screen TV connected to a workstation that has Portal access
- Discovery Room: 4 workstations with Portal access, plus a printer/scanner/copier
- Media Room: A VCR player, audio cassette player, and two laptops that provide conversion from VHS and audio tapes to digital formats. There are also two inkjet printers: one for 8.5x11 color printing, and one for oversize prints up to 11x17.

- Lincoln County Genealogical Society : The Lincoln County Genealogical Society promotes genealogical research and education. Membership is open to anyone interested in researching family history, regardless of whether ancestors are from Lincoln County.

- The Family History Guide: Included in the FamilySearch Center Portal, this free website helps you learn FamilySearch, Ancestry, MyHeritage, and Findmypast. It also includes pages for research around the world, and family history activities for all ages.
- Using the FamilySearch Research Wiki: A comprehensive video presentation explaining the Wiki, navigating it, and some especially useful pages. Case studies demonstrate using the Wiki for genealogical research. Editing and adding articles to the Wiki are covered.
