Historical
Many of the original records of church units are in the Church History Library in Salt Lake City. Many of the membership records covering these units from the date of their creation to about 1948 have been microfilmed and are available at the FamilySearch Library in Salt Lake City or at its FamilySearch Centers. History
Declo is a farming district lying east of Burley. Declo a station on the Burley and Idaho main branch of the Oregon Short Line Railroad is nine miles east of Burley, near the south bank of the Snake River and on the state highway leading from Burley to Pocatello. It is also on the old Oregon Trail. Declo was formerly called Marshfield. The total population was 1,088 in 1930.
