Historical Background
Rwanda has three major groups: the Hutu, Tutsi and Twa. The largest religion is Christianity. Germany colonized Rwanda in 1884. Belgium invaded in 1916. Rwanda became independent 1 July 1962.[1]

Fetal deaths are not registered.[2]
