Research Experience: Our Ogden FamilySearch Center missionaries are eager to assist you with your FamilySearch Family Tree, your own research for records from around the world, and with your scanning and converting photos, documents and media. Computers are available on the second floor, and a few computers are available next to the Children’s Area on the main floor so that parents can do their family history work without leaving their children unattended. Missionaries are eager to help you one-on-one and in small groups with family history questions and problem solving. We hope to see you soon. No reservation is necessary.

Childrens’ Area: The Children’s Area is located on the first floor. We ask that you do not leave your children unattended. Computers are situated close by so that parents can do their family history work without leaving their children. No reservation is necessary.

Childrens’ Group Activity: This is for children ages 8-11, accompanied by their leaders. We cannot accommodate unscheduled groups at this time. Reservations are required.

Discovery Area: The Discovery Area is one of the Center’s most popular activities. Six large interactive screens help people of all ages discover more about who they are, where they come from, who their ancestors are and what their lives were like. Young and old can have fun learning and experiencing these engaging activities. All About Me; My Time Machine; and Compare a Face are just 3 of the many activities that you can enjoy at the Center.

The Center is prepared to assist Stake and Ward groups through the Discovery Area. The best experience happens when parents/leaders are engaged with their group members.

How to prepare for your Discovery Area visit:

• We cannot accommodate unscheduled groups at this time. Reservations are required.
• Reservations can only be made online. Plan in advance in order to get your desired date and time.
• Available dates are currently Tuesdays 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Thursdays 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
