Digitalizace v archivech České republiky

Digitalizací je míněno zpřístupnění archiválií v digitální podobě přes internet. Neznamená to přepsání údajů z archiválií do databázové podoby pro běžné hledání - to je stále hudba budoucnosti (představa "kde si mám zadat svoje příjmení, aby mi to našlo celý rodokmen" je mylná).

Digitizing in the archives of the Czech Republic

Digitization means an access to archival documents in digital form over the Internet. It does not mean name indexing - it is still music of the future (the idea of "where do I enter my name, so that I find the whole family tree" is wrong).
