FamilySearch Library Off-site Storage Book Orders

When planning a trip to the Family History Library, you can check the currently availability of items in the catalog. Books that are in off-site storage can be ordered ahead of time to ensure they will be available during your visit.

Use the FHL Off-site Storage Book Order form to request a book from storage. Once orders are received, the Libray staff will follow the steps oulined below:

1) Check other available formats (example: microfilm/microfiche)

2) Evaluate current copyright status and determine if book can be avaiable online

3) Search for a copy for sale

4) Print a replacement copy

Please allow 2-4 weeks for orders to be processed. You will be notified by email when the book is available.
