News
General news items can now be found on the Community News page in the Wiki.
- The wiki has a long-standing bug that is related to the use of the rich editor. Our engineers are currently looking at how this bug can be fixed, but we need your help in documenting the steps to reproduce the bug. Many of our community members are fully aware of the bug that produces the extraneous strings of code in the text:   and amp - this is the bug we need to document the steps to reproduce. I believe there is a Forum thread related to both of these bugs. Maybe some details are already documented in the thread. Please add the steps to reproduce this bug to the discussion page. When the steps have been identified, I will copy the steps onto the bug ticket for the engineers to use in their testing and efforts to fix the bug. Thanks in advance for your help! --Fran 16:44, 23 June 2010 (UTC)

- What items of information are appropriate for the county pages on our research Wiki? I have been rather conservative in approach, and maybe that isn't always good. So what about adding a Wikipedia Reference Box to each page (and if we do, where should it be placed?)? What about GPS coordinates? And links to Google maps? My approach has been to try to provide helpful links, but try not to detract from our Wiki nor send users out to other sites unless necessary due to copyright issues.Jimmy B.
