Guides	Censo Guía de Archivos de España e Iberoamérica	Guide that explains which archives of Spain were produced by whom and for which documents can you search.
Heraldry	Heraldaria	Includes free guide to heraldry in Spain and Latin America and free tutorials on genealogy. You can search for your surname coat of arms for free, but they also sell services.
Immigration Argentina	Historia y Arqueología Marítima	Based in Argentina, this website contains detailed information about ships that sailed between Europe and Latin America.
Blog South America Argentina	Historia y Genealogia Hispanoamericana	Free genealogy blog on South American genealogy, with emphasis in Argentina, that includes over 1,000 articles on South American families, genealogy databases, and other online resources.
Guides Argentina	La Guia de Informaciion Genealogica	Free genealogy blog and directory based in Argentina that offers resources for Latin America as well as Argentina.
Tutorial	Manual de Genealogia Hispana	Comprehensive blog and tutorials on Hispanic research. Web Site is based in Spain but also covers Latin America.
Blog Central America	Mauricio Melendez Genealogias	Free genealogy tutorials on hispanic genealogy, with emphasis in Costa Rica, published by Mauricio Melendez, including all the articles that appered in his newspaper column, Raices.

Guides	FamilySearch / BYU Research Outlines	Research outlines for each country in Latin America, showing available records and location. The original publications are in Spanish and were upgraded by BYU with additional material in English.

Archives Spain Guides	Taming PARES	Tutorial on PARES, the National Spanish Archives portal. It describes the different databases it contains (including the Archivo General de Indias) and useful tips and tricks on how to use PARES effectively for research in Latin America.

Archives Colombia	Archivo General de la Nacion	National archive of Colombia, which was the seat of government for Nueva Granada during the Spanish colony. Includes census, notarial, and historical records for Colombia, Panama, and Venezuela.
Immigration Argentina	Barcos e Inmigrantes	Passenger lists, origination, and destination of ships traveling between Spain and Latin America. Primarily focused on Argentina.
Immigration Spain	Movimientos Migratorios Iberoamericanos	Lists of passengers and emigrants from the Spanish Consulate in Veracruz, boarding permits for travelling to Cuba and Puerto Rico, National Register of Foreigners in Mexico, requests for residency permits for the Dominican Republic, passenger Log Books of the Montevideo Police, and Nationality Register of the Spanish Consulate in Rosario, Argentina.
Archives Spain	PARES (Portal de Archivos Españoles)	Portal to the Archives of Spain. Contains colonial records of people who migrated from Spain to the New World and administrative records. Consult census guide to the archives for details.
Immigration South America Spain	Proyecto Ancestros Inmigrantes (PAI)	The goal of this BYU project is to extract emigration data from European ports regarding migration of people from Spain, Portugal, Italy and other countries to South America (Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil) and other countries.

Library	Biblioteca Digital del Patrimonio Iberoamericano (BDPI)	The Digital Library of Iberoamerican Heritage is a cooperative venture of the National Library of Spain and several digital libraries in Latin America. Collections include maps, history, culture, and some genealogical resources.
Library	Biblioteca Digital Miguel de Cervantes	Based in Spain, this virtual library has formed alliances to present material not just from Spain, but also from Mexico, Peru, and Colombia.
