French Colonization (1900-1960)
From 1900-1960, Chad was ruled under the French Colonial Empire. Chad became part of French Equatorial Africa in 1910, and in 1920, it became a separate colony under French Civilian administration. Chad declared independence from France in 1960.[1] [2]
