- Language userboxes - spurred on by a request posted (on the Userboxes/Gallery talk page) asking for a Userbox for a non-native speaker, I have developed the template {{Userbox-lang}}. This was something that I have been thinking about for sometime. Using two parameters it allows a user to display on their User page the languages/abilities that they possess. --Steve 13:53, 28 December 2010 (UTC)
- This is great because the language abilities will be helpful for further development of all the language wikis! Thanks Steve for creating the new box, and thanks to James for asking about the possibility. -Fran 15:34, 28 December 2010 (UTC)
- During the meeting the option of showing more than just speaking ability was requested. I have now amended the template to use a new named parameter skill which can be used to change speaker to reader or writer or any combination of the three. Examples have been added to the documentation for the {{UBX-lang}} template. --Steve 22:07, 28 December 2010 (UTC)

- Infobox for Counties
I like the idea of adoption being included in the county infobox. DeSoto Parish, Louisiana. Dsammy 21:14, 28 December 2010 (UTC) - Linking to WikiProjects within stub
I don't seem to find a way to link the state/special projects linked to stubs like Template:New York-stub to WikiProject:New York
